China Longyuan Power Group Limited is also known as Longyuan Power. It is the largest wind power producer in PRC and Asia Pacific. China Longyuan Power Group Limited has collaborated with Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica to supply wind turbines for execution of a new project in Ningxia province. The wind turbines are expected to be installed in June 2012. Moreover, China Longyuan Power Group Limited has decided to install wind farms in high-wind regions such as Inner Mongolia. Gamesa’s patented G97 has been customized to capture lower speed winds with maximize energy output. The company is gearing up to build and install 1 gigawatt of offshore wind farms by 2015 in response to the government's push for clean-energy generators.7 new projects of China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited namely Qinghai Liaoning Chaoyang Lishugou Wind Power Project, Golmud Solar Power Project, Tongliao Kezuohouqi Xinaili Wind Power Project, Inner Mongolia Damaoqi Mandula Wind Power Project, Hebei Zhangbei Baimiaotan Phase Ⅱ Wind Power Project, Gansu Anxi Xiangyang Wind Power Project, and Gansu Yumen Daba Wind Power Project have been approved and registered by the CDM EB (supervises the Kyoto Protocols). The total installed capacity of these new projects is 317 MW. In August 2010, China Longyuan Power Group Limited acquired Nantong Hongda Heat and Power Generation Co., Ltd. In September 2010, the company merged with Jiangsu Yuantai Shipping Co., Ltd. China Longyuan holds 60% share in Buerjin Tianrun Wind Power Co., Ltd.
