There are many homemade remedies which are easy and quick to prepare and that saves money. Homemade brown sugar scrub is a popular scrub as it is an easy way to exfoliate your skin. Brown sugar contains from 3.5% molasses (Light brown sugar) to 6.5% molasses (dark brown sugar) giving it a high mineral content. Brown sugar has soothing aroma that encourages relaxation. It is good for the skin as it gently exfoliates the surface layer of dead skin cells. It removes excess oil and dirt. • 1 cup brown sugar- it is used as an exfoliating agent.
• ½ cup sweetened almond oil (Can also use sesame oil, vegetable oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil etc), it is used as a moisturizer.
• 1 tsp Vitamin E
• ½-1 tsp vanilla extract- for fragrance

Place the brown sugar in a bowl
Add almond oil (You can prefer other oil which suits your skin type).
Add Vitamin E oil.
Add the vanilla extract
Stir to combine, when this scrub is ready it is ready to apply on face.
Moisten your face with warm water.
Scoop out a bit of the scrub and apply to your face.
Massage the brown sugar from shoulders to feet. Focus on dry skin and rough patches. Don’t be rough with the scrub as it could damage your skin. When finished rinse off with warm water. And can finally wash it off with the soap if needed.
