What is Census?

• Census is the process of collecting information regarding the people present in the country and publishing demographic, financial and collective data related to all persons in a country at a particular time.
• In 1790 the nation’s first census was started by 650 marshals who went home every 6 months for collecting the household information and the how many people stay in every house.
• The census act is conducted by the Census Act 1945. Since from 1801 for every ten years the census process act is being conducted to know the country’s population. The previous census act was detained on 29 April 2001.
• Census includes each and every person. And it is used to know the entire population of the country and based on the population present the central and local government plans how to organize their health establishments and how effectively to utilize their resources for further years.
• Census involves questions like age, sex, religion, education and occupation of each person. Financial information of the family helps to provide job strength and business break.
