What is the history of Coffee?
How Coffee exactly started being a drink is not clearly known but one of the interesting stories told about the origin of Coffee starts in Ethiopia. A man named Kaldi, noticed that the goats after eating the berries of a certain plant, became very hyper and wouldn't sleep at night. When he reported this to the local monastery, the abbott made a drink out of the berries and realized that the berries made him stay up longer and he spread word of the coffee drink to his peers. This slowly spread to local surrounding areas and across Arab nations and later worldwide.
